Coast Guard Remember events set for this weekend

The Coast Guard Foundation, a non-profit committed to the education, welfare and morale of Coast Guard members and their families, announced that the Coast Guard Remember movement, which raises funds to support the foundation's Fallen Heroes Scholarship Program, will hold the majority of its events this weekend.

pfd0517 Sea Tow International said Thursday that the Sea Tow Foundation's Life Jacket Loaner Station program, in existence nationwide since 2007, will open National Safe Boating Week, which starts Saturday, by accepting a $20,000 donation.
